A photo booth overlay is the transparent frame your booth app lays over each photo, GIF or boomerang before it's shared. Ours are built at 1080x1920 px — the standard 9:16 portrait size used by LumaBooth, Snappic, Curator, Photo Booth Upload, DSLR Booth, Darkroom Booth and most iPad and phone booth apps — and exported as transparent PNGs with the artwork kept to the edges so faces stay clear.

Every overlay also comes as a layered Photoshop PSD with live text in free Google Fonts, so "Happy Halloween" can become the venue name and "2026" can become the date before you export. The frame, the decorative elements and the text sit on separate layers; hide what you don't need and save a fresh PNG with transparency.
